Superheroes are incredibly popular not only in movies but also on television. The rising success of characters from DC and Marvel has led to a huge increase in superhero TV shows – even beyond those two major brands. And now, one of the best is back! Prime Video released three new episodes of its critically acclaimed superhero series on March 18th.
Fans of the animated superhero series Invincible can now stream Season 4! A year after the last season aired, Prime Video released the first three episodes on March 18th. Based on the popular Image Comics series by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, the show features the voices of Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, and J.K. Simmons. It follows Mark Grayson, a teenager who gains superpowers from his father, Omni-Man, a seemingly invincible hero. Season 4 explores the fallout from the events of Season 3 and introduces new challenges for Mark. New episodes will be released every Wednesday on Prime Video until April 22nd, with a total of eight episodes planned.
Prime Video’s Invincible Is One of the Best Superhero Shows Currently Streaming
If you’re looking for a superhero show with intense action and real consequences, Invincible is a great choice. Over its first three seasons, it’s become one of the best in the genre, consistently earning high praise from both critics (99% on Rotten Tomatoes) and viewers (92%). Unlike many superhero stories, Invincible doesn’t shy away from the harsh realities of superpowers. It shows the brutal side of these battles, focusing on the emotional and moral toll they take on everyone involved – heroes and civilians alike – with lasting and often devastating results.
Invincible is a thrilling and thought-provoking show with incredible action sequences and a fantastic voice cast, making it essential viewing. After achieving perfect scores on Rotten Tomatoes for its second and third seasons, the show is off to another strong start with Season 4, currently holding a 100% rating based on 15 reviews. The series continues to explore its characters, especially Mark and his internal struggles, while maintaining its signature blend of intense action and shocking violence.
Will There Be an Invincible Season 5?
Even though Season 4 of Invincible still has five episodes to go, Amazon Prime Video has already renewed the show for Season 5! Production on the new season is starting now, with a likely release sometime in February or March 2027, if the show keeps its current pace. Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, and Seth Rogen will return, and Matthew Rhys is joining the voice cast.
