Following the positive reception of *Batman: Caped Crusader*, DC and Prime Video are collaborating on another Batman series. This new project will be quite different in style and mood, and they’ve just released the first images, focusing on the villains, with more information coming at New York Comic Con. A second season of *Batman: Caped Crusader* is also planned.
The new Batman series, called *Bat-Fam*, is a fun and charming take on the classic hero. The recently released artwork shows just how lighthearted and stylish it is. It features Batman flying the Batwing over Gotham City, with a lively group including Man-Bat, Ra’s al Ghul, Alfred Pennyworth, Alfred’s grandniece Alicia, Selina (the family cat), and Damian, who’s clinging on for the ride!

Besides fresh glimpses of Ra’s al Ghul and Man-Bat, we’re introduced to Claire, a former super-villain now known as Volcano. She’s recently become a resident of Wayne Manor and has quickly taken on the role of a playfully sarcastic older sister figure to Damian.
If you’re going to New York Comic Con, join us for a special panel in Room 405 on Saturday, October 11th at 12:30 PM EST. We’ll be showing a sneak peek of the new series and sharing behind-the-scenes stories with executive producer Mike Roth. Plus, you’ll hear from stars Bobby Moynihan (Man-Bat), London Hughes (Alicia Pennyworth), and Yonas Kibreab (Damian Wayne/Little Batman) with a Q&A session!
What Is Bat-Fam?

Bat-Fam centers around Batman, his son Damian, and Alfred as they open their home to some unexpected new guests: reformed villains like Volcana and Ra’s al Ghul, and even Damian’s grandfather, Man-Bat. The series explores the challenges and humor that arise as this unusual family tries to balance everyday life with protecting Gotham City.
The upcoming animated series, Bat-Family, has announced its voice cast! Luke Wilson will play Bruce Wayne/Batman, with Yonas Kibreab as his son, Damian Wayne/Little Batman. James Cromwell will voice Alfred Pennyworth, Haley Tju will play Claire, and London Hughes will be Alicia Pennyworth. Michael Benyaer is set to voice Ra’s al Ghul, and Bobby Moynihan will play Man-Bat. Additional guest stars throughout the season will include Reid Scott, Natasha Leggero, Diedrich Bader, and Kevin Michael Richardson.
