This upcoming game will be a squad-based first-person shooter, emphasizing asymmetric combat. According to the latest trailer, Project Spectrum (previously known as Crossfire: Rainbow) was recently unveiled. The combat in this new trailer appears similar to previous encounters, but it also provides additional storyline context. In this installment, we follow a soldier who is being debriefed after a disastrous mission, which seems to be the focus of the upcoming game’s gameplay.

The “Project Spectrum” is being constructed utilizing Unreal Engine 5, and at present, it’s intended for launch exclusively on personal computers. The narrative centers around a reality-altering energy known as Ember, capable of transforming anything it comes into contact with – be it living or inanimate objects – into peculiar and enigmatic forms. The aftermath of these occurrences is referred to as Ember Zones, which are later scrutinized by an Operator, a role that players will assume in the gameplay.

The studio has confirmed that within Project Spectrum, players can enlist allies during their journey through various Ember Zones. This teamwork provides the necessary power to combat tougher adversaries. While battling Ember-infused creatures, players must also monitor their mental health to ensure they remain stable.
