Alix Earle is waltzing forward.
Even though she and Braxton Berrios broke up after dating for two years, it’s clear they remain friendly. She recently showed they’re still on good terms.
I was so heartened to see NFL player Alix, just 25, sharing news about his work with PetSet! He helped rescue over 30 dogs from Houston, getting them safely transported to Minnesota – a move that literally saved them from being put down. It’s wonderful when public figures use their platform for such important causes, and this is a fantastic example of making a real difference in animal welfare.
Alix and her ex-partner began dating in 2023 and shared a love for dogs, fostering several together. Alix is now caring for one of those dogs, a Pitbull mix named Asia.
While many people praised Braxton, 30, for his kind act, some noticed how quickly Alix reacted to the post. One person commented that Alix ‘liked’ it just three minutes after it went live.
Another user also noticed the interaction and wrote, “I hope they get back together.”
Alix has confirmed that she and the wide receiver for the Houston Texans have broken up, though the split was friendly. This news comes despite fans hoping they would get back together.
In a TikTok video posted on December 13th, she sadly shared that she and Braxton have broken up. She explained they’ve been in a long-distance relationship since June and haven’t been able to see each other much, which has been very challenging for her.
Before Alix and Braxton separated, they were both pursuing demanding careers in different cities. Alix moved to Los Angeles to compete on season 34 of Dancing with the Stars, while Braxton finished his NFL season. Although these opportunities were exciting for their careers, being apart made it difficult for them to stay connected and communicate effectively.
She admitted it was upsetting to realize they couldn’t be together. She also explained she needs to prioritize her own well-being right now, and doesn’t feel she can give Braxton the constant support he deserves. She wants him to have someone who can be there for him fully, all the time.
Even though the former couple decided to part ways, Alix will always have a soft spot for Braxton.
She confessed she loves Braxton, calling him her best friend. She’s finding it hard to move forward because they seem to be growing apart, which she finds upsetting. Despite this, they’re still on good terms, and she wants people to be kind and supportive of him.

In late September, the football player posted a cute picture of the TikTok star cheering him on from the sidelines.
Alix shared this PDA pic on Instagram in October, writing, “hbd nfl man.”
The couple took a trip to the Bahamas in November during the Miami Dolphins’ bye week.
Braxton posted a series of pics from the getaway on his Instagram page, writing, “Worth the wait.”
