Before the official reveal later today, news about one of the free games for PlayStation Plus Essential in April 2026 has been leaked online.
As expected, the leak comes from the consistently accurate Dealabs. They report that the new Lords of the Fallen – the sequel, not the original game – will be the featured title in April’s game selection.
- Lords of the Fallen (PS5) | Review
The action RPG initially launched on PlayStation 5 in October 2023 and received mixed reactions. However, the game became much more popular and well-regarded after several significant updates were released.
Currently, Lords of the Fallen is highly praised as one of the top Soulslike games available. It’s a visually stunning dark fantasy adventure with challenging, satisfying combat and a unique feature allowing players to switch between two different worlds.
We’ll be sharing the complete list of games for April 2026 later today, Wednesday, March 25th. Along with Lords of the Fallen, two more games will be announced. You can find all the details right here on Push Square.
