The trailer shows that The Roach Hotel has a visual style reminiscent of early PlayStation horror games, with grainy, VHS-like effects. Gameplay is similar to those older titles, focusing more on exploring the environment and solving puzzles than on fast-paced combat and intense survival horror.
As you may have noticed, The Roach Hotel is relatively brief, lasting around an hour or two. However, the developers intend to expand the game with additional content later on. What’s currently available is considered just the beginning – essentially, the first chapter.
