Sony recently released an update for the PS5 Pro that enhances the performance of eleven games. This update includes the new “2.0” version of PSSR, Sony’s upscaling technology, which first debuted with the launch of Resident Evil Requiem a few weeks ago. Sony had promised more games would be updated in March, and they’ve now delivered, making the PS5 Pro even more appealing.
Currently, the PS5 Pro 2.0 works with twelve PS5 games. These games are from major developers and publishers like Konami, Electronic Arts, Square Enix, Capcom, and surprisingly, even Xbox. While Sony hasn’t updated any of its own PlayStation Studios games for the new console yet, updates are expected in the near future.
Here is the full list of PS5 games that have now been improved further on PS5 Pro:
- Silent Hill 2
- Silent Hill f
- Dragon Age: The Veilguard
- Alan Wake 2
- Control
- Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2
- Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
- Nioh 3
- Rise of the Ronin
- Monster Hunter Wilds
- Dragon’s Dogma 2
More PS5 Pro Upgrades Are Coming Soon

In addition to the games already enhanced for the PS5 Pro, Sony announced that several other popular titles will also receive these improvements. This starts on March 19th with the launch of Crimson Desert, which will immediately support PSSR 2.0. Updates for Cyberpunk 2077 from CD Projekt Red and Assassin’s Creed Shadows from Ubisoft are also planned, though a release date for those hasn’t been announced yet.
As a PlayStation fan, I’m really happy with how the PS5 Pro has turned out! It definitely feels like it’s finally living up to the hype from when it first came out in 2024. Sure, it had some bumps in the road over the last year, but Sony’s been consistently improving things, and honestly, it’s become the best place to play console games. If you’ve been thinking about getting a PS5 Pro, now is absolutely the time to do it!
