Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls will be released on August 6th with a roster of 20 playable characters.
We already know about 11 of the game’s characters, including Magik, Wolverine, and Danger, who were revealed in yesterday’s State of Play trailer. That leaves nine characters still to be announced before the game comes out.
But what about the game’s post-release plans?
Sony isn’t sharing details about that just yet as they prepare for release, but they have announced a Year 1 Character and Stage Pass. This pass will add four new fighters and one new stage to the game after it launches.
This content will be included in the Digital Deluxe Edition ($84.99) and Ultimate Edition ($99.99). We also expect it to be sold separately for players with the Standard Edition who are interested in purchasing it later.
Players will be able to change characters’ outfits. The Ultimate Edition of the game will come with costumes for Storm, Captain America, Doctor Doom, Iron Man, and Spider-Man.
You can find more details about the game’s future updates and content right here. Here’s a first look at what the developers, Arc System Works, have in store.
