Next spring, acclaimed actors Rachel Zegler and Ben Platt will star in a new London production of the popular musical, The Last Five Years.
Stars from ‘The Hunger Games’ and ‘Dear Evan Hansen’ will join together for a special concert celebrating the 25th anniversary of the show. The concert will be led by Jason Robert Brown, who originally composed the music and will also direct.
The concerts are scheduled for March 24th to 29th, 2026, at the London Palladium. This is a quick return for Rachel Zegler, who recently made a triumphant West End debut at the same venue in Evita. Ben Platt hasn’t performed on a London stage since 2019, when he appeared at the Eventim Apollo.
The musical The Last Five Years first debuted in Chicago in 2001, then moved to off-Broadway in 2002. It’s been produced on Broadway many times since, but only played in London’s West End once, in 2021.

This musical tells the story of Jamie Wellerstein, an up-and-coming writer, and Cathy Hiatt, an actress trying to make it, and their five-year relationship as it falls apart. It was adapted into a movie in 2014 with Anna Kendrick in the lead role.
Lambert Jackson Productions is bringing back this beloved show, and co-founder Jamie Lambert believes its 25th anniversary deserves a fantastic cast, as the production has touched so many lives globally.
It’s a real honor to collaborate with Jason Robert Brown again – he’s one of the most talented composers working today. We’re incredibly thankful for his belief in Lambert Jackson.
Tickets for the concerts will go on sale on Friday 31st October at 10am and pre-sale is open now.
