The PS5 is a chunky bit of kit, even if you own one of the later, more slender models.
Ever wish your TV’s base or stand was less bulky and looked more modern? Now there’s good news for you.
I just saw this amazing video from Not From Concentrate! They managed to fit a PlayStation 5 into a much smaller case, and the best part is, it still runs just as well! It’s incredible what they were able to do.
Essentially, NFC has managed to significantly shrink the internal components of the PlayStation 5, creating a version that’s roughly 60% smaller than the original released console.

This video features a customized console that’s a bit bigger than some others, but still noticeably smaller than a regular PlayStation 5. And, if you’re technically skilled, you can even create one yourself.
NFC is selling the plans and instructions for building your own custom PlayStation 5, but it’s not a simple project. You’ll need to either buy or 3D print some components, and you’ll also need to know how to solder and be prepared to spend time on it.
It’s remarkable how much smaller and more hidden the PS5 can be made, whether you handle the process yourself or not.
We don’t expect any major redesigns of the PS5 at this time, but it looks like some smart engineering could still lead to a smaller version.
So, what are your thoughts on this miniature PlayStation 5? Would you be interested in buying one, or perhaps even building it yourself? Let us know in the comments!
