The popular action hero Jack Reacher is coming back to Prime Video, and we have a general idea of when to expect his return. Already known as a standout action star, Reacher has given us three successful and well-received seasons. Season 4 will see the wandering hero facing danger in New York City as he looks into a mysterious death on the subway – a case that quickly spirals into a deadly conspiracy. According to star Alan Ritchson, this upcoming season promises to be the best one yet.
The popular series Reacher, based on Lee Child’s novels, stars Alan Ritchson as a former military police officer who becomes a wandering hero. In Season 1, he’s pulled back into action after being arrested for murder. Season 2 finds him investigating the deaths of his former unit members, and in the latest season, Season 3, he gets caught up in a dangerous criminal conspiracy while trying to save a DEA informant in a desperate situation.
Every season of Reacher has been a hit for Prime Video, and fans are especially excited about Season 4. Alan Ritchson recently told Collider exactly when the new season will premiere and shared details that have really built up the anticipation.
We’ve completed filming Season 4 of Reacher, and it’s shaping up to be our best season so far! You can expect it to be released later this year.

Alan Ritchson has been building excitement for Season 4 of Reacher for a while now. The new season will be based on the thirteenth book, “Gone Tomorrow,” and Ritchson has mentioned he worried it might be overly action-packed – though it’s hard to imagine Reacher having too much action!
We filmed a lot of fights – honestly, I’ve lost count, probably around 30. It’s more than we’ve ever done before. But we don’t include them just for the sake of having action. I’m concerned that audiences will get tired of constant fighting. I’ve noticed with shows like Game of Thrones, my wife tunes out during the non-action scenes, but perks up when the fights begin. I don’t want viewers to become disengaged because there’s just too much fighting happening on screen.
The popular Reacher series is growing! Maria Sten will be back as Frances Neagley in her own spin-off show. Joining her are Greyston Holt, Jasper Jones, Adeline Rudolph, Matthew Del Negro, and Damon Herriman. Alan Ritchson will also make a special appearance as Jack Reacher.
