Season 4 of *Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World is scheduled to premiere in April 2026, though an exact release date hasn’t been announced yet. Crunchyroll will be the exclusive streaming home for the new season in the United States and other regions outside of Japan. Fans can also expect the same staff and voice actors from previous seasons to return.
Masahiro Shinohara, who directed the third season of the anime, is back to direct the new episodes, with production handled by WHITE FOX. Masahiro Yokotani will be in charge of the scripts, Haruka Sagawa is designing the characters, Keitaro Chiba will create the monster designs, and Kenichiro Suehiro is composing the music. Fairouz Ai and Tomokazu Sugita are joining the voice cast as Shaula and Reid Astrea, respectively, though their roles in the new season are currently unknown.
What’s New for Re:Zero Season 4?
The latest trailer for *Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World Season 4 unveiled the opening theme song, “Recollect.” The song is produced by Giga & TeddyLoid and performed by Konomi Suzuki and Ashinikko. The trailer also showed more of the new, enigmatic characters, including Shaula, who appears to quickly form a bond with Subaru. However, given the unpredictable nature of this world, it’s difficult to know who can be trusted.
The series delves deeper into the character of Reid Astrea, hinted to be the original Sword Saint and connected to events from 400 years in the past. Despite being shown fighting with chopsticks in the trailer, it’s evident he’s a powerful individual who Subaru and his allies will need to approach with caution.
