Porsha Williams and Patrice “Sway” McKinney are happily in love.

Okay, so everyone went crazy when pictures started floating around that looked like she was engaged! I was practically hyperventilating! But thankfully, she quickly set the record straight about what’s really going on with her and that amazing woman from Real Housewives of Atlanta. It’s not what we thought, sadly, no ring yet, but honestly, just seeing them together is enough for me… for now!

Sway quickly debunked the engagement rumors on Instagram, posting, “I’m not engaged! Seriously, does that picture even look like me? It’s obviously AI!” She also included a laughing emoji and the phrase “Lawd!” in her post.

She punctuated the note—which Porsha reposted to her own Story—with an eye roll emoji. 

Sway shared this message a little over two months after Porsha first publicly revealed their relationship online with some cute photos. One picture showed Sway hugging Porsha in front of a Christmas tree, and another playfully captured Sway touching Porsha’s rear.

Porsha, who filed for divorce from Simon Guobadia in February 2024, wished @sway_thepro a happy birthday in a post on November 28th. She wrote, ‘Hope this year continues to bring you everything you want and more!’

It’s like, she was hinting at it all along, and I was just waiting for her to be her true self! I knew she deserved happiness, and if that meant finding it with a woman, I was all for it!

After a really tough breakup, it’s easy to feel like you don’t want to be with anyone at all,” Porsha shared with People magazine in June. “I found myself wondering if I was even attracted to women, and if I could find happiness with a woman who could help me move on.”
