Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s Son Riot Makes Public Debut at Fashion Week

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s baby boy is learning from the best.

Truly, I couldn’t contain my excitement as I witnessed Riot, the cherished 22-month-old son of the beloved couple, grace his first public stage at Paris Fashion Week on June 27. The enchanting “Love on the Brain” singer, carrying the toddler in her arms, added a heartwarming touch to A$AP’s AWGE Menswear Spring/Summer 2026 Show, making it an unforgettable event for all fans like me.

On that special day, I opted for a bold yet stylish ensemble – a sleek black leather Harley Davidson motorcycle jacket paired with vibrant purple cargo pants to add a touch of playfulness to my look.

Simultaneously, the founder of Fenty Beauty, who is also a mother to 3-year-old RZA and expecting another child, was seen wearing a long-sleeved striped shirt with a pleated miniskirt, crumpled gray socks, and a pair of strappy high heels.

Inside the building, petite Riot found himself cheering on AWGE, a creative agency established by the acclaimed rapper known as Sundress, right from the comfort of his mother’s lap in the front row. The youngster even had the opportunity to snap pictures with his renowned parents, who radiated immense pride seeing their son attend such a significant event during his father’s milestone, at the Temple de l’Étoile in Paris.

In a portrait taken by Miles Diggs, Riot made their stylish first appearance about two months following Rihanna’s announcement of her pregnancy prior to the 2025 Met Gala, at the age of 37.

In the image, the artist known as “The Umbrella Singer” showed off her expanding belly in a light blue two-piece ensemble and eye-catching headgear outside of New York City’s Carlyle Hotel. Although the duo has been tight-lipped about their baby, ASAP couldn’t contain his enthusiasm at the prospect of expanding their family.

He shared with The Associated Press on May 5 that he’s thrilled! He had grown weary of keeping things under wraps, and now they could finally reveal their work. It’s heartening to see everyone rejoicing for them, as they too are ecstatic about it.

Before reuniting with Riot in 2023, this couple, who started dating at the end of 2019 following years as friends, offered a glimpse into the impact of parenthood on their unique bond.

Rihanna shared with British Vogue in February 2023 that she and her friend have a special bond akin to that of best friends and a baby. They need to be in sync, which they already were, and having a baby has only brought them even closer, not caused any change for the worse.

In 2012, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky showcased their hit “Cockiness” at the MTV Video Music Awards, delivering a performance that was trophy-worthy. This dynamic duo didn’t stop there; they embarked on tour together in 2013.

2013 saw fans constantly playing back the music video for “Fashion Killa,” a hit collaboration between Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, leaving them enamored with its rhythm.

Over time, their friendship endured. In 2018, they graced the Louis Vuitton Menswear Spring/Summer 2019 show during Paris Fashion Week, and needless to say, they looked fabulous.

At the 2021 Met Gala, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky graced the event hand-in-hand, each one dressed to impress. Rihanna donned a striking black Balenciaga dress, while A$AP Rocky wore an exclusive ERL quilt jacket paired with a tuxedo.

Following their baby announcement, Rihanna admitted that she found it challenging to hide her pregnancy from her close friends. She explained to Justin Sylvester from TopMob, “It proved difficult for me to keep it a secret since they’re always with me and aware of my routines.” They noticed changes in her behavior like her refusing drinks or not smoking, and they were puzzled when she started eating foods she usually dislikes, such as cookies and donuts. Eventually, she had to reveal the truth, which left them all surprised, just as the rest of the world was taken aback too.

Although fans speculated that A$AP Rocky might have proposed to Rihanna based on the phrases “Marry me?” and “I do” visible on their teeth in his “D.M.B.” video, sources close to the couple confirmed to TMZ in May 2022 that they are not currently engaged.

And baby makes three! Multiple outlets report that the couple welcomed a baby in Los Angeles.

She debuted her second pregnancy during the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show.

The pair take the 2023 Met Gala together in honor of Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld. 

Rihanna accompanied A$AP Rocky during his performance at a Spotify party in Cannes, France.

In simple terms, the couple had their second baby, a boy named Riot, and exactly one month afterward, they released some unique images, marking them as a happy family of four, during an infrequent photo session.

Rihanna confirmed her romance with A$AP began at the end of 2019.

We could either hurt or help each other’s feelings. So, we approached dating carefully.
