Rihanna Reveals How Her Kids Are Following in Her Musical Footsteps

Please don’t stop the music for Rihanna and A$AP Rocky‘s kids.

According to the artist known as “Umbrella,” both RZA, three months old, and Riot, twenty-three months old, have already mastered singing tunes.

Rihanna, who is expecting their third child with Rocky, shared exclusively with TopMob News during the Los Angeles premiere of Smurfs on July 13 that they both have a deep affection for music. Mentioning how much their sons are fond of musical instruments, the 37-year-old said, “I can’t tell if they inherited this love from me or it’s something they developed on their own. I often find myself asking, ‘Is this my influence or is it you, Rocky?’

However, their youngest is turning out to be an aspiring rapper like his dad.

“Riot, he likes to freestyle,” Rihanna noted. “So, that’s definitely a Rocky thing.”

Besides instilling a love for music in her kids, Rihanna is also sharing her affection for the Smurfs by voicing Smurfette in the upcoming Smurfs movie, hoping that they too will develop a fondness for this classic series.

Rihanna expressed that she aimed for people to enjoy the animated movie, stating her intention was to produce something that would resonate with them on an emotional level, making it a cherished memory for them throughout their lifetimes.

She mentioned, “I’ve felt the feelings that Smurfs evoke in me – even as a child. I’ve always been captivated by The Smurfs, and once one falls for them, it’s a feeling that stays with you forever.

Despite being a mother, Rihanna views herself as eternally youthful and playful. In an interview with TopMob News’ young correspondent Francesca in October, she expressed, “As a child, my dream was to grow up. Now, all I aspire to be is a kid again.

The Grammy winner added, “So, don’t let them lie to you: Being an adult is not as fun as it seems.”
