Ripple CEO Confirms He’s Still the Biggest XRP Owner-You Won’t Believe the Reason!

<a href="https://pricpr.com/xrp-usd/">XRP</a> News: <a href="https://pricpr.com/xrp-usd/">Ripple</a>’s Brad Garlinghouse Reveals His Role in the XRP Community

At the recent XRP Las Vegas conference, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse responded to a common concern among XRP enthusiasts: as Ripple increasingly serves banks and other large businesses, how dedicated is the company to supporting XRP itself?

His answer was direct and left little room for interpretation.

According to Brad Garlinghouse, Ripple holds more XRP than anyone else and has the strongest interest in its success. He emphasized that this will remain true going forward.

Why the Question Frustrates Him

Brad Garlinghouse has often been surprised by doubts about Ripple’s dedication to XRP, considering it doesn’t make sense when Ripple holds more XRP than anyone else.

Honestly, when I hear people debate that point, it just doesn’t add up to me. It’s clearly not something I’ve ever stated publicly, and it’s frustrating to see that misconstrued.

The company with the largest amount of XRP in the world naturally wants to increase its value, usefulness, and how widely it’s used. Ripple’s work with institutions isn’t separate from its dedication to XRP; it’s actually how Ripple supports and promotes it.

The Three Goals Driving Ripple’s XRP Strategy

As an analyst following Ripple, I understand their strategy around XRP centers on three key goals. Essentially, they’re striving to make XRP the leading digital asset – not just in terms of popularity, but also in how easily it can be bought and sold, and crucially, in building unwavering trust in its reliability and security. They want XRP to excel in all three areas simultaneously: utility, liquidity, and trustworthiness.

Ripple aims to achieve its objectives by selling products and services to banks and other financial market players. They’re focusing on Ripple Prime and Ripple Treasury to do this, with Ripple Treasury currently performing very well. Recently, Ripple even advertised on billboards and buses in Las Vegas, specifically targeting people attending a rival financial conference.

Brad Garlinghouse, with a chuckle, mentioned that Ripple Treasury’s main competitor is a company called Kyibba, who just held their annual conference. He added that Ripple playfully had buses picking up attendees from the Kyibba event, branded with Ripple Treasury messaging.

The Community Is Growing

Garlinghouse made these remarks at the XRP Las Vegas event, which organizers say was the biggest one yet, now in its fourth year. The large attendance showed that the XRP community has remained strong and united despite years of legal challenges and fluctuating market conditions, a point Garlinghouse himself recognized.
