If you’ve been following our work, you likely know we’ve been interested in Road to Vostok since it was first announced in 2022.
We were intrigued by the idea of a game challenging enough to make even experienced players cautious, and its permanent death feature really made us curious. Now, we’re getting a first look as the game has launched into early access, along with a detailed launch video from the developer explaining what players can expect.
The game is designed to strongly appeal to fans of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl by offering a realistic and challenging world. It deliberately avoids the safety features many modern gamers rely on, creating a truly demanding experience. Success will require significant effort, but overcoming the dangers on the journey to Vostok will be incredibly rewarding – only the most skilled and courageous players will be able to make it.
The developers anticipate that Road to Vostok will be in early access for two to four years, during which they plan to add twice as much content as is currently available.
