Rob Kardashian Teases Return to Reality TV

2025 may have been the year of realizing things for Rob Kardashian. 

In the season finale of The Kardashians, 38-year-old Scott Disick hinted to Khloé Kardashian that he might return to the show as a full-time cast member next season.

Rob, who stopped appearing on reality TV in 2016, told Khloé Kardashian and a producer in a phone call that he’s hoping to be part of season eight and is eager to film it.

The comment came after Khloé, 41, playfully said fans were overly enthusiastic about how he looked in the show’s preview.

“They’re going crazy with excitement,” she told Rob. He disagreed, saying, “That’s just not enthusiastic fan behavior.”

While fans have occasionally seen Rob Kardashian over the years, appearing consistently on his family’s Hulu show would be the first time he’s been a regular on television in almost ten years, since he stepped away from public life.

Rob Kardashian, who shares his 9-year-old daughter Dream with Blac Chyna, was also in the first episode of the show’s seventh season. His sister, Kim Kardashian, had previously expressed hope that he would return to the series.

Kim explained on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy with Andy Cohen that her ex is open to dating when he’s feeling up to it. She said he’s fun and playful, but lately he’s just preferred to relax and take things easy.

Kim Kardashian and her sisters – Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall, and Kylie Jenner – are happy to have everyone filming together again, but they would never force a family member to do something they didn’t want to.

Kim explained that they respect anyone who doesn’t want to participate. She added that everyone has different aspirations, and someone initially hesitant has now said they’re okay with it.

Rob appears to be making a big comeback, both on television and in his personal life. He even briefly returned to social media to celebrate his mother, Kris Jenner’s, 70th birthday.
