New Star Wars Game Announcement Reportedly Imminent
Okay, so it sounds like we’re getting a new Star Wars game announcement really soon! This comes from a reliable insider named Kurakasis. Apparently, it isn’t going to be either Star Wars Eclipse or the turn-based strategy game, Star Wars: Zero Company, that EA is working on. Nobody knows for sure what it is, but a lot of us are hoping it’s either Star Wars Jedi 3 – which has been hinted at for a while – or maybe even the long-awaited Knights of the Old Republic remake finally making a comeback!

Electronic Arts has confirmed they’re working on another Star Wars Jedi game, but haven’t shared any specifics yet. The previous game, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, was revealed in May 2022, only about three years after the original. Considering the pandemic likely impacted development, that was a quick turnaround – the game launched just a year after the announcement. Given that pace, it wouldn’t be surprising if we hear about a third game soon.
The Knights of the Old Republic remake isn’t a brand new game, but whenever it’s shown again, people will likely react as if it is. It was first announced in 2021, but we haven’t had any updates since then. Development has been troubled, and the project even changed developers, suggesting it may have been significantly reworked.
There’s a strong possibility a new Total War game based on the Star Wars universe is coming soon. Rumors have been circulating for a while, and Total War is expected to announce a new title this week. If the rumors are true, we should have official details very shortly.
