CD Projekt Red, the company behind Cyberpunk 2077, could be hinting at a reveal to celebrate the game’s upcoming fifth anniversary.
We’ve mentioned this previously, and it wouldn’t be surprising to learn the company is planning something new. The developer Virtuos is still reportedly working on updates for the game, as they assisted with Patch 2.3 earlier this year.
I’ve seen a lot of fans thinking the team has been secretly building something huge, and honestly, with the game’s fifth anniversary coming up, it feels like the perfect moment for them to finally show it off!
This rumor has resurfaced after the official Cyberpunk 2077 account shared a new post on social media.
This account has been regularly posting about character birthdays, and its latest post focuses on an upcoming one next week, on December 10th.
Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if CD Projekt Red has a little something special planned – they always seem to love dropping hints online, and it’s fun to try and figure them out!
