It’s been rumored that Forza Horizon 6, set in Japan, might be unveiled next year. A new report by Windows Central, supported by trusted tipster NateTheHate2, claims that this game and its anticipated location will be officially announced at the Tokyo Games Show in the coming month.

According to Windows Central, there are official documents circulating that suggest Forza Horizon 6 might be announced during the Tokyo Game Show in 2025. Subsequently, on Reddit, NateTheHate2 shared more details, stating that the plan is to announce the game this year, with the Tokyo Game Show serving as the venue for this announcement, and the game is set in Japan.

It was recently fueled that a Forza Horizon game set in Japan might be under development, as hinted by a car import company’s Instagram post showing pictures of Kei vehicles – native to Japan – which they mentioned were being used as reference for the game’s digital versions. The person taking these photos is reportedly from Playground Games.

It appears that Forza Horizon 6 is highly likely to debut in 2026, according to Xbox chief Phil Spencer during the last Xbox Games Showcase. He stated that this release would feature “a new Fable, the upcoming Forza, Gears of War: E-Day, and a resurrection of an original title that’s been around since the start” in celebration of the brand’s 25th anniversary.
