A social media leaker, who previously shared the logo for Rayman Legends: Retold, claims Capcom’s next game is scheduled to release on September 25, 2026. The leaker cautions that this information might be outdated, but with a Capcom livestream, called State of Play, happening within the next two days, we should have official confirmation soon.
We might see Onimusha at Sony’s upcoming online event, but if not, it’s likely to be revealed at the Summer Game Fest livestream only a few days after.

With GTA 6 launching in November, most game publishers are steering clear of releasing their titles immediately before or after it. We recently saw Fable pushed back to February 2027, with GTA 6 specifically mentioned as a reason. Currently, only Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, scheduled for October 23rd, is planning a release close to that time – and even that’s a month before the new GTA game featuring Jason and Lucia arrives.
