Attention, Rayman fans: Ubisoft has acknowledged the series!
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Rayman franchise, and to honor this special milestone, an official video has been released across various social media platforms. It’s definitely worth taking a look.
What stands out is the mention concerning game development; Loic Gounon, a representative from the brand, indicates that the teams at Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan are collaborating on the future of Rayman.
He adds that we shouldn’t expect any news “too soon”, but that Rayman “is in good hands”.
Last year, Ubisoft disclosed that they were in an investigative stage concerning Rayman, meanwhile, Insider Gaming asserted they had inside information about a possible Rayman remake.
It appears that the outlet is firmly committed to this, as rumors suggest there could be not just one, but two new Rayman games in development. One of these games is said to be a remake, while the other might turn out to be Rayman 4.
Based on information from Insider Gaming, the project appears to be progressing exceptionally well and is rumored to be scheduled for launch towards the end of 2026.
Whether or not the event happens is uncertain, and it seems to hinge significantly on the success of Rayman Remake in sales. According to Insider Gaming, if the production proceeds, Rayman 4 might be unveiled by the close of this decade.
At the moment, it’s more accurate to view what he said as unconfirmed information or speculation, given its current status. However, Tom Henderson has generally been a trustworthy informant in the past.
How do you feel about it? Are you excited to witness Rayman’s comeback? Share your thoughts in the comments area beneath this post.
