Sacha Baron Cohen’s Mephisto Has Hilarious Ironheart Outtake

A new hilarious Ironheart outtake featuring Sacha Baron Cohen has emerged online.

In this show, Marvel’s Ironheart, I step into the shoes of Riri Williams, a character I previously played in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The series is masterfully crafted by Chinaka Hodge and features an impressive cast. Alongside me, Anthony Ramos portrays Parker Robbins/The Hood, Alden Ehrenreich takes on the role of Ezekiel “Zeke” Stane, and Baron Cohen brings Mephisto to life.

What happens in the Ironheart outtake?

Marvel Studios shared an Ironheart video via X, where Thorne mentions that out of all the Ironheart cast members, Baron Cohen was the most likely to come up with spontaneous lines during a scene. The clip then switches to footage of Baron Cohen saying to Ramos, “At this moment, you appear quite unpleasant.” This line is scripted for the show, but this particular take is used because it shows Ramos bursting into laughter immediately afterwards.

Following Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Marvel Television’s Ironheart explores a clash between technology and magic. Riri Williams (Thorne), a brilliant young inventor with a passion for leaving her footprint on the world, finds herself back in Chicago after the events. In her quest to excel, she crosses paths with Parker Robbins, a charismatic yet enigmatic figure known as The Hood (Ramos).

In addition to Dominique Thorne playing Ironheart, the series also features Lyric Ross portraying Natalie Washington/N.A.T.A.L.I.E., Manny Montana as John, Matthew Elam as Xavier Washington, Anji White as Ronnie Williams, Eric André as Stuart Clarke/Rampage, Cree Summer as Madeline Stanton, Sonia Denis as Clown, Shea Couleé as Slug, Zoe Terraces as Jeri Blood, Shakira Barrera as Rob Blood, and other talented actors.

The highly-anticipated Ironheart series, concluding Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, can now be streamed on Disney+, featuring a total of six episodes. Coming soon from Marvel Television is the animated Eyes of Wakanda show, set to debut on August 27, 2025.
