Sarah Paulson Details Hilarious on Set Moment With Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian and Sarah Paulson couldn’t keep up their feud IRL.

Despite a competitive rivalry portrayed between the stars in Ryan Murphy’s new show, *All’s Fair*, premiering on Hulu November 4th, the Emmy-winning actress shared that their relationship was actually quite different off-camera, and she recounted a memorable moment from the set that she’ll never forget.

Sarah confessed to Erin Lim Rhodes of TopMob News that she was arguing so intensely with someone that she accidentally spit a potato chip onto their cheek. She said there’s video of the incident showing them laughing hysterically, to the point where they were struggling to breathe, and they’ve been asking Ryan to share it.

Sarah remembered being in the middle of arguing with Kim when a small chip fell onto Kim’s face. “She was trying not to laugh,” Sarah said. “And I just lost it.”

Although the scene didn’t make it into the final version of the show, the actor joked that it was “really good television.”

Sarah admitted she and Naomi Watts are easily distracted and often slip out of character. However, she pointed out that during one particularly difficult scene, she and her costar, Kim, struggled with a specific issue.

You know, I was really struck by what Sarah said about one of the Kardashians. Despite a little playful banter, she was genuinely amazed by her taste and style – especially when you consider acting isn’t her primary focus. It just goes to show, you can be talented in so many different ways!

Sarah excitedly shared that Kim was incredibly busy while they were filming. Kim was preparing for the bar exam, managing her business, filming her reality show, and taking care of her kids, all while perfectly knowing her lines. Sarah also said she was very enthusiastic and up for the challenge of working with her.

Naomi also thought it was really impressive that the 44-year-old actress quickly took on this new role after previously appearing in American Horror Story.

The *Mulholland Drive* star seemed very at ease on camera, but she was particularly impressed by the actress’s ability to connect with the script and portray a character with complex emotions. She described her as incredibly dedicated, a quick study, and someone who consistently worked hard, stayed on schedule, and could handle many things at once.

Kim was surprised by how much her fellow cast members—including Glenn Close, Niecy Nash-Betts, and Teyana Taylor—praised her work on the show.

She told TopMob News how much she appreciated her colleagues. “I really love these women,” she said. “We all learned so much from each other, and I was especially inspired by their dedication – showing up and working hard every single day. They’re truly the best at what they do, and that’s a valuable lesson for anyone.”

Kim revealed that what looked like a natural talent actually required a lot of effort, more than her fellow actors realized.

She explained that she focused on being prepared. She made sure she knew her lines and arrived on time.

She explained that she hoped to simply observe and learn from the others involved.

Honestly, this new show just *destroyed* me. It’s not just about Gacy, it’s about the people he hurt, and seeing their families suffer… it was absolutely heartbreaking. But it also made me so angry! The show really lays bare how many chances people had to stop him, how the system just…failed them. It’s like all these red flags were there, and because of how things were back then, or just plain carelessness, it all went on for so long. I’ve been obsessed with this case for years, and this show finally feels like it gives those victims and their families the attention they deserve, and really shows how much could have been done differently.
