Scheana Shay’s Husband Brock Davies Breaks Silence on Past Affair

Scheana Shay and Brock Davies are mentioning it all.

In her recently published memoir titled “My Good Side,” a former cast member of “Vanderpump Rules” named Scheana disclosed additional information about an affair that took place between Brock and herself. This affair was uncovered while she was pregnant with their daughter, Summer Moon, who is now 4 years old, in the year 2020.

Brock clarified to Scheana in their latest podcast conversation on July 25th, ‘I’ve simplified it as much as possible.’ He explained, ‘It wasn’t a relationship or courtship, merely a physical encounter. We met, and that led to intimacy.’

He stated that the incident occurred numerous times over a period of twenty-one days, leaving him feeling extremely upset. He exclaimed, “This is unacceptable, I won’t do this again.” Then, he made a conscious decision to put an end to it, but unfortunately, he then forgot about it.

Regarding why Brock strayed from Scheana, it appears that he linked this behavior to his apprehension about having another child. Notably, Brock has two children, Eli and Winter, who reside with his former spouse in their native Australia.

The individual, aged 34, admitted to being apprehensive about parenting once more. He had let misconceptions sway him; he thought he was a poor father, and he embraced many of these ideas as an excuse for inaction. However, the truth is that one simply has to put in the effort.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but share this intriguing tale: For almost three years, Brock managed to hide his secret relationship from the golden-voiced star of “Good As Gold.” However, amidst the whirlwind of public scrutiny that surrounded Vanderpump Rules during Scandoval, he finally confessed his feelings. He bravely admitted that he had pumped iron before summoning the courage to spill his heart to Scheana.

In this case, Brock confided that he had penned it down in a letter and made an effort to push the matter aside. He held hope that he wouldn’t repeat his actions, allowing us to leave this incident behind.

During that period, Brock mentioned that he was primarily focused on his own thoughts rather than considering others when keeping the secret hidden for such a long time.

In this case, Brock admitted he penned it down in a letter and made an effort to let go of it. He felt certain that he wouldn’t repeat the action and we could simply leave it behind us.

Regarding the reason he kept the secret hidden for such a prolonged period, Brock mentioned that he was primarily preoccupied with his own interests rather than considering others during that timeframe.

In my own words, I was merely safeguarding my own interests. To be frank, I was acting out of fear. That individual, in this situation, showed cowardice as well. His actions were not motivated by a concern for your safety, but rather a desire to preserve his own reputation.

Besides sharing his admiration for his wife’s courage in publicizing a tough phase of their lives, the TV personality was sure to acknowledge his mistakes as well.

He expressed his pride in her for sharing her narrative, and he regretted that it became a part of her life’s account.

Brock explained, ‘I didn’t want to deal with the consequences of my actions, so when you mentioned the book, I said I would back you up and read it after you’ve finished writing. I simply wanted to avoid any impact on your work, not because of the book itself. I just prefer discussing and acknowledging my actions that are depicted in the book.’

In the end, Scheana chose to disclose Brock’s infidelity in her memoir as it didn’t seem right to omit such a significant event when recounting her personal journey.

The 40-year-old clarified, “This tale isn’t a trick or gimmick; it’s not meant to be sensationalized for book sales. Instead, it’s an authentic account of our lives…I chose to share this story when and how I did because it was about having control over my narrative.

It’s not surprising that 21-year-old Scheana Shay crossed paths with 13-years-senior Eddie Cibrian while waitressing at a Los Angeles cigar bar, as many aspects of their relationship were like a smokescreen or illusion.

In her 2025 memoir titled “My Good Side”, Scheana described the actor as someone who was incredibly kind, hilarious, and captivating. She mentioned that even though he was married to Brandi Glanville and had two sons, he didn’t wear a wedding ring. Assuming him to be single, she stated that she wasn’t aware of his fame since she never considered searching for his identity.

They didn’t have a strictly committed relationship, but starting from late 2006, they had a regular weekly appointment, which they referred to casually as a “booty call.” However, despite this arrangement, she was unaware that he was already married until another club member revealed it. Despite her doubts, she didn’t want to accept it because they were often seen together in public, and she didn’t feel like she was hiding an affair.

Following her uncovering of the facts, she ended things with him, but six months later they found themselves reconnecting once more. As she shared the story, she mentioned how he had deeply apologized and informed her that he and Brandi had parted ways.

In another instance, Eddie presented her with some diamond earrings as a gift, admitted his feelings for her, and then invited her on a snowboarding adventure. She described this event as a significant leap in our relationship.

In March 2009, she discovered his relationship with LeAnn Rimes was widely publicized in magazines. She expressed her frustration by stating, “It really annoyed me that Eddie didn’t have the courage to have a straightforward conversation with me.” However, she eventually moved past it and has not interacted with Eddie since then.

While she was involved with Eddie, Scheana found herself developing feelings for Jesse Metcalfe, the gardener from “Desperate Housewives”. She shared that they often enjoyed dinner deliveries at his home, even with his parents present. However, when they were alone, he would strum his guitar and sing sweet tunes like ‘Hey There Delilah’, making her feel as if she was living a romantic fantasy with the man she had admired on screen for years.

She mentioned that she had a casual relationship with John Mayer: “I tried to keep it secret because I enjoyed spending time with him. However, since it wasn’t just the two of us often, one of my friends accidentally revealed the truth.” When that friend disclosed the information, “He stopped talking to me and didn’t want to see me,” she wrote. “He might have thought I was the one leaking details about our hangouts.

However, as she was talking, she casually mentioned some of the men she’s dated: “Shemar Moore, Josh Hopkins, Shane West, Jesse McCartney, JC Chasez, Adrian Grenier, Ricardo Chavira, William Tell, a couple from The Notebook movie, and several athletes from NFL, NBA, and MLB.

Back when Scheana’s future was still unwritten, she made an uncredited cameo on The Hills in 2009.

At the Hollywood club H.Wood, she was taken aback when her friend Stacie Adams was labeled a “homewrecker” for flirting with Spencer Pratt, while she and another companion were referred to as “vulgar terms like ‘prostitutes’ and ‘sluts'”.

This version maintains the original meaning but uses more common and less offensive language.

However, Scheana pointed out, everything that transpired wasn’t genuine, as she recalled. Following their wrap-up, Heidi Montag unexpectedly appeared in a car beside her. “She was incredibly kind,” Scheana penned, “unlike the mean-spirited Heidi from MTV, who was manipulated and presented to the public.” She further wrote, “Heidi said, ‘Hi everyone, I’m sorry I had to be harsh with you, it was all part of the show. You understand that, don’t you?’

However, it was Lisa Vanderpump who truly excelled in the art of reality TV, as evidenced by her decision to involve Scheana in SUR’s grand opening event, which was showcased on a January 2012 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Despite inviting Brandi from the RHOBH cast, Scheana admitted she had no inkling that she was being drawn into a plot for a spin-off. She also mentioned that she didn’t anticipate it would portray her as a fool on a nationwide stage, which was in fact how things turned out.

Lisa guided Brandi towards Eddie, signaling her to serve the appetizers. Upon learning about Scheana’s relationship with Eddie, she feigned surprise.

More recently, following the latest cast changes on VPR, Scheana was conversing with a producer. They mentioned, “Initially, Lisa was concerned that the girl linked to Eddie who might not take part in the show.” This implied that they were referring directly to me, essentially revealing that Lisa had always been aware of my relationship with Eddie, which I’d long suspected. Furthermore, it suggested that she leveraged this knowledge to kick-start VPR.

During those times, one might expect them to be the happiest days of her life. However, less than two years into her marriage with high school friend Michael Shay, she found herself seeking a divorce on camera – growing tired of his persistent Adderall use and the emotional infidelities she claimed he was involved in behind her back.

And she admitted her feet began cooling even before she walked down the aisle in 2014.

She penned down that her wedding night was when doubts about her husband’s potential addiction truly surfaced. Delighted to observe his restraint from alcohol consumption throughout their reception when she had requested him to abstain, she was initially content.

As an ardent admirer looking back, I recall a chilling moment at one of our bridal party’s rented casitas. There was an unusual glaze in his eyes, and he wobbled like a leaf in the wind. Later on, as days turned into weeks, it all became crystal clear when Tom Sandoval, our fellow cast member, extended us those little blue pills, claiming they were Ecstasy.

Initially, Shay, looking puzzled, expressed, “Hold on, isn’t that the pill you gave me at the wedding? I thought it was Adderall.” Both of them were taken aback. It turned out that Shay hadn’t intended to get intoxicated that evening; he merely wanted an Adderall to stay awake longer. (TopMob News has contacted representatives for Tom and Michael, but have yet to receive a response.)

As a devoted fan, I’ve seen Scheana navigate the tumultuous waters of Vanderpump Rules for seven seasons. However, just as I was about to appear on Watch What Happens Live, I found out unexpectedly that my role was being reduced from full cast member to “friend of” status.

Speaking candidly to host Andy Cohen, she shared, “I was crying uncontrollably,” she explained. “He looked at me with understanding and said, ‘Let me tell you, we’re almost on air. I need you to pull yourself together, deliver a fantastic performance, and prove to everyone that you rightfully earned your place on this show.

In the lead-up to season 10, she received another unsettling phone call. This time, she attributed it to her ongoing relationship with husband Brock Davies. She suggested that his past, particularly his admission of slapping his ex-wife and strained relationship with their children Eli and Winter, didn’t sit well with the audience.

According to Scheana, it was alright for him to join group activities, but they would not be providing him with specific call times.

In other words, she said, “It felt like a total f–k-you.”

According to Scheana’s perspective, the producers of “Vanderpump Rules” occasionally exaggerated or emphasized her negative aspects. This is supported by Bri Dellinger’s confession that she would intentionally search for Scheana’s most awkward moments and assemble them. As evidence, Scheana said, she had the proof on hand.

The most striking instance occurred when Scheana was requested to converse with Nikolai Schroeder, who was 15 years old at the time and Stassi Schroeder’s brother, during Stassi’s engagement celebration.

In her own words, Scheana expressed that she had been playfully joking with him, much like how one might do with a younger sibling, without giving it a second thought. She mentioned that they talked about school, sports, and possible girlfriends. However, she was taken aback when the final episode gave the impression that she was flirting with Nikolai. This came as a surprise to her because Nikolai is only fifteen years old.

At the 2019 Stagecoach Music Festival, Scheana encountered someone she referred to as “DD” and immediately felt a strong bond with her, sharing a mutual admiration for Sam Hunt. They continued to socialize in Los Angeles, even sharing a kiss at TomTom on one occasion.

Over the following months, as Scheana put it, things turned into an odd situation where we’d drink together, kiss, and inform others that we were in a relationship.

Scheana found herself puzzled, questioning whether her feelings leaned towards being attracted to women, feeling solitary and disillusioned with men, or if it was just a unique connection she felt for this particular woman.

Scheana shared that it seemed to her as though there was something beyond friendship with DD, yet she wasn’t ready to acknowledge or engage in a relationship. She confessed her concern about how her traditional family and VPR audience might react. Part of her wished she had voiced her feelings towards DD to see if they matched, but the possibility of rejection seemed too daunting compared to discovering what our potential could be together.

At another music festival in September, I crossed paths with a charismatic individual named Brock. Initially, there seemed to be some mutual interest, but as we conversed, it became apparent that our personalities just didn’t mesh well. However, this encounter unexpectedly led me to form a connection with Scheana, as our shared interests and compatible personalities paved the way for a deeper relationship.

Overwhelmed with affection after our trip Down Under in November, Australia and Bali became memories we cherish, and it seemed like the old magic was back. We were out with DD when, just as if no time had passed, she leaned in to give me a kiss. I couldn’t help but share this moment with you all by saying, “And there it was, reminiscent of days gone by, she kissed me.” Brock, caught off guard, retorted, “You’re my girlfriend now. Such displays are not acceptable. You two had a history, and that chapter is closed. Unless we rewrite the ending together, I might need to move on.

In October 2020, Scheana announced that she was expecting a baby girl named Summer Moon Honey Davies with Brock, just a few months after experiencing a miscarriage. Interestingly, they hadn’t been trying for another child; as Scheana put it, “Brock could use a little practice when it comes to his reflexes.

Nine days prior to the start of season 9 filming, Scheana encountered a potentially life-threatening surge in her blood pressure while in labor, which continued for 15 hours, causing her great concern.

In that moment, she found herself greedily wanting a child for a television program, when suddenly the baby’s heart rate began to fall. (This version aims to maintain the original meaning while making it easier and more natural to read.)

Without realizing it, Scheana’s condition was a serious type of preeclampsia known as HELLP syndrome. In retrospect, she expressed that it was nothing short of miraculous that she was induced for delivery. If she had proceeded naturally, the doctors may not have detected her preeclampsia in time, potentially leading to a stroke and even death.

Regrettably, after Summer arrived looking limp and blue (a typical situation when moms receive a magnesium drip), Scheana’s troubles didn’t cease. Eventually, she was diagnosed with postpartum OCD. However, therapy has been instrumental in helping her manage issues such as following exactly 420 people on Instagram for decades, or her apprehension about visiting Disneyland alone with Summer.

According to Scheana, she’s been trying out various methods of exposure therapy as a means to conquer her inner struggles.

Celebrate the creativity that culminated in an exciting finale for season nine! It turns out that during James Kennedy and Rachel “Raquel” Leviss‘ engagement party in California’s Santa Ynez Valley, Scheana had a surprise plan: she and Brock were supposed to secretly elope while they were there. She added that since she’d already had extravagant, televised weddings with Shay, her priority was marrying Brock instead.

Moreover, there was talk about securing a 10th season. However, she ultimately vetoed the idea, as she felt it would overshadow another bride-to-be’s moment. As Scheana clarified, “We were under immense pressure to conclude with a bang,” she added, “and our positions within the team hung in the balance if we didn’t meet expectations.

In this scenario, Lala Kent, Ariana Madix, and Katie Maloney concocted a scheme where Lala would inform James and Rachel that Scheana was attempting to steal the spotlight from their special event.

Scheana added that this revelation would likely create more excitement, ensuring another season, she declared, ‘Mission accomplished regarding job security!’

Following the heated incident, I found myself back at the hotel, sharing the ride with Brock and Lala. After our intense disagreement, we ended up leaving in harmony together.

Following a press event in March 2023, Rachel and Schena found themselves at a bar in New York City. Suddenly, Rachel exited with Ariana, who was speaking on the phone with Tom (her boyfriend at that time), in sight.

When Scheana inquired about the situation, Rachel seemed puzzled and admitted, “For the past seven months, Tom Sandoval and I have been involved romantically. Ariana recently discovered this secret.

In a fit of anger, Scheana threw Rachel’s phone into the street gutter. When Rachel tried to restrain her, Scheana explained, “I pushed her away from me.” Rachel, it seemed, was advancing towards Scheana, causing Scheana to push her again.

At the hotel later on, Scheana recounted to Ariana, “I shoved Raquel and tossed her phone into the street,” she shared. With Ariana on speakerphone, it seemed Tom overheard from afar. It appears he misunderstood me; I didn’t punch Raquel, although there were many intense feelings that evening, I simply pushed her instead.

Scheana expressed her disappointment when Rachel appeared to alter her account, as she had initially filed a police report in L.A. and requested a temporary restraining order (which was later withdrawn). In her post, Scheana stated, “This woman was prepared to lie about me, potentially damaging my career and reputation, while also risking legal consequences for falsely reporting an incident, all in an attempt to make the media treat her more leniently.” (On the other hand, Rachel clarified that the TRO was designed to create a cooling-off period following an assault, but she had no intention of pursuing a permanent one.)

During season 10, the Scandoval storyline took center stage; however, another narrative of infidelity unfolded more personally. As whispers circulated about Brock being involved with Rachel, Scheana shared her experience, stating, “He was worried that something he had done might be exposed, and it was better for me to hear it from him directly.

In the spring of 2023, Scheana discovered that Brock, who expressed fear about becoming a father once more, had engaged in a short-lived relationship with an old acquaintance, during which Scheana was pregnant with his child.

Overwhelmed by fury,” she confessed, “I struck him and tossed a Rubik’s cube at him, but he managed to avoid it.” After she had calmed down, however, Scheana started working on resolving the issues within their relationship.

If she had known the truth about Brock, she probably wouldn’t have gotten married. Her response would have been quite distinct if Summer hadn’t been part of the picture.

I could abandon Brock and our family, which would mean discarding our life together, damaging my loved ones, and harboring the bitterness that was consuming me. Or B: I could opt for forgiveness. I could start releasing the anger and resentment, and instead choose to continue on.

It’s worth noting that Scheana’s popular single, “Good As Gold,” hasn’t brought in significant earnings for her yet. Despite its frequent appearances on Vanderpump Rules and use in an Uber Eats ad, she has only earned from vinyl sales. Initially, her career manager arranged a deal with his entertainment lawyer early on, which may have impacted the financial returns of “Good As Gold.

Reflecting on the situation now, I realize that perhaps it wasn’t wise to have a joint lawyer, as I was unaware of the implications at the time. I put my trust in him when he asked me to sign certain documents, believing them to be routine or standard.

It seems she penned, “It appears that one of the documents handed him the rights to ‘Good As Gold’. Unfortunately, I’ve never had possession of the contract copies, if I ever did, and my efforts throughout the years to secure control over my work or obtain our original contract have been fruitless. Perhaps this situation will improve now.
