Scooter Braun Details “Surprise” of Dating Sydney Sweeney

Scooter Braun‘s new relationship has left him euphoric.  

The 44-year-old music executive spoke about his relationship with 28-year-old Sydney Sweeney, with whom he’s been romantically linked since June 2025. They were first seen together at the wedding of Jeff and Lauren Sánchez Bezos in Venice, Italy.

During the May 28th episode of the Second Thought podcast, Braun described meeting an amazing woman – someone he called kind, generous, intelligent, genuine, and down-to-earth – and called their relationship a complete surprise. He didn’t mention her name, but was referring to Sweeney.

Braun, who divorced Yael Cohen Braun in 2021 and shares three children – Jagger (9), Levi (7), and Hart (5) – recently confessed he’s a huge fan of Sydney Sweeney, especially her work in the third season of Euphoria.

Okay, so I’m totally hooked on this HBO show! I mean, how could I not be? And honestly, I’m a little obsessed with Zendaya and Jacob Elordi – they’re amazing! But seriously, there’s one actress in particular who is just blowing me away with her performance. I’m completely biased, of course, but it’s incredible, I’m telling you!

I’ve been following Sweeney for a while now, and it’s so clear she’s really into this music manager! He’s worked with some huge stars – think Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and Demi Lovato – so it makes sense she’s drawn to him. She hasn’t said anything official about them being together yet, but honestly, it’s pretty obvious to those of us who keep up with her!

Rather than address the rumors, the owner of Syrn lingerie shared pictures of her new partner with fans, showing them enjoying the 2026 Stagecoach music festival together.

Sweeney posted photos and videos on Instagram showing her and Braun enjoying a romantic weekend together. The pictures included Braun holding her and a video of them singing karaoke while looking lovingly at each other, and she captioned the post “cowboy kind of weekend.”

Sweeney is starting a new romantic relationship after ending her seven-year engagement with Jonathan Davino in 2025.

I spent my entire twenties really focused on my career,” Sydney Sweeney told Cosmopolitan in a recent interview. “Now I’m at a point where I want to enjoy life and new experiences. It’s just challenging figuring out how to do that, especially when it comes to relationships and having that play out publicly. I’m still learning how to handle it all.”

Sydney Sweeney, known for her role in Euphoria, and Jonathan Davino were first linked romantically in 2018. They were seen together at multiple events, including a Hulu Emmy Party in Los Angeles, which initially fueled dating speculation.

The pair were photographed at the InStyle and Kate Spade dinner in Beverly Hills.

A year after that, the actress from Anyone But You and her partner went to a New York Knicks game in New York City.

The couple took a relaxed trip to a West Hollywood flea market several weeks before their engagement.

In a 2022 interview with Cosmopolitan, Sydney shared that she avoids dating people who are famous. She prefers to date people outside of the entertainment industry—actors, musicians, etc.—so she can simply be herself and keep things uncomplicated.

Sydney says she wants a partner who feels like a best friend – someone she can spend all her time with and consistently share laughter with, without ever getting tired of their company.

The actress from The White Lotus and her fiancé kept the good times rolling with a stylish visit to the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.

The adorable couple, dressed in matching black, made a loving appearance at an event during the Venice Film Festival in Italy.

 

Back in New York City, the twosome were spotted walking Sydney’s dog Tank.

The couple, known for making the movies Anyone But You and Immaculate, were seen holding hands after enjoying a romantic dinner in Paris.

Sydney shared with Glamour UK in 2023 that combining work and a relationship was wonderful. She explained that it’s fantastic to collaborate with someone who truly understands and champions your ideas and perspective.

Sydney and her partner were back at the Venice Film Festival in 2024. She’d previously told Entertainment Tonight that wedding plans were on hold because she was too busy with work.

During a rare outing in winter 2025, the couple partook in a cheeky snowball fight in New York. 

News sources reported in March 2025 that Sydney and Jonathan ended their seven-year relationship and canceled their engagement.

Shortly before news of their split became public, Sydney was seen at a wedding with Glen Powell—the actor she was first linked to romantically during promotion for their 2023 movie, Anyone But You. However, Glen’s mother, Cyndy Powell, quickly dismissed the rumors, telling the Daily Mail in 2025 that Sydney is just a family friend.
