As expected, a remake of Trails in the Sky: Second Chapter is confirmed, continuing after the remake of Trails in the Sky: First Chapter.
Just to give you a heads-up, the first chapter includes a little sneak peek at the next installment, similar to a post-credits scene – and we’ve already had a look at it.
The short teaser features characters and scenes from Trails in the Sky SC – the second game in the series – but now recreated with the 3D graphics from the first game.
Based on the preview, it seems like work on the sequel is well underway and could be released sooner than expected. The game *Trails in the Sky SC* heavily reused elements from the original, which would make the development process much faster this time around.
We expect Falcom to make an official statement once the first chapter of the game is released. It’s coming out on September 19th, and we’ll be posting our PlayStation 5 review shortly after.
