Gemma Arterton plays Kate

Kate is a top-level intelligence officer with MI6. She’s in charge of a secret investigation that suggests a prominent British politician might be secretly working for Russia.

You might recognize Gemma Arterton from movies like St Trinian’s, Quantum of Solace, Clash of the Titans, Tamara Drewe, and Murder Mystery. She’s also appeared in series such as Tess of the D’Urbervilles, Inside No 9, and Black Narcissus, and more recently in Culprits and Funny Woman.

Rafe Spall plays Stuart

Who is Stuart? Stuart is Kate’s husband and a political adviser to the home secretary.

You might recognize Rafe Spall from a variety of popular movies and TV shows. He’s appeared in films like Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Prometheus, Life of Pi, The Big Short, and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Alex Kingston plays Rose

Who is Rose? Rose is the head of security at the Secret Intelligence Service (SIS).

You probably recognize Alex Kingston from her popular roles in the TV shows ER and Doctor Who. She’s also appeared in films like The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover, and other series including Upstairs Downstairs, Arrow, The Widow, A Discovery of Witches, Treason, and Douglas is Cancelled.

Mark Stanley plays Ryan

Who is Ryan? Ryan is the foreign secretary.

You might recognize Mark Stanley from his appearances in popular TV shows like Game of Thrones, Sanditon, Happy Valley, and Trigger Point. He’s also been in series such as Dickensian, White House Farm, Criminal: UK, The Girl Before, The Bay, The Thief, His Wife and the Canoe, and The Reckoning. Roger Allam plays Sir Alan

You probably recognize Roger Allam from a lot of popular shows and movies! He’s appeared in series like Spooks, Ashes to Ashes, Game of Thrones, and The Thick of It, as well as films including V for Vendetta, The Queen, and The Iron Lady. More recently, he’s been in Murder in Provence and Endeavour, and films like Tetris and Mr. Holmes.

Amaka Okafor plays Imogen

Who is Imogen? Imogen is a senior member of the cabinet.

You might recognize Amaka Okafor from her appearances in TV shows like The Split, Grace, Bodies, The Responder, and Black Rabbit. She’s also been in the film Greatest Days.

Aoife Hinds plays Julie

Who is Julie? Julie is one of Kate’s co-workers on the Russian desk at SIS.

You might recognize Aoife Hinds from her appearances in TV shows like Cheat, Derry Girls, Normal People, Anne Boleyn, The Long Call, and Dune: Prophecy, as well as films including Hellraiser, Scoop, We Live in Time, and Saipan.

Avi Nash plays Rav

Who is Rav? Rav is one of Kate’s co-workers on the Russian desk at the SIS.

You might recognize Avi Nash from shows like Silicon Valley, The Walking Dead, Black Mirror, and Silo. He’s also appeared in the film The Weight.

Alma Prelec plays Lena

Who is Lena? Lena is a woman who has been recruited to work as a covert operative for Kate.

Khalid Abdalla plays Zak

Who is Zak? Zak is a senior figure in MI6 and Kate’s direct superior.

Okay, so you’re wondering where you might recognize Khalid Abdalla? Honestly, the guy’s been quietly building a really solid career for a while now! I’ve spotted him in everything from the spy thriller Spooks and the action-packed Hanna, to more recent hits like Moon Knight and even The Crown. If you’re a movie buff, you probably remember him from films like The Kite Runner, Green Zone, Our Kind of Traitor, and even Assassin’s Creed. He’s one of those actors who consistently delivers, and pops up in a lot of great projects.

Secret Service starts Monday 27 April at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
