Abigail Breslin is stepping into the sunshine.

Oh my gosh, I was there! Abigail Breslin, the absolute star of Little Miss Sunshine – can you believe she was only eleven when she got an Oscar nomination for that role?! – she actually showed up at Sundance! It was the 20th anniversary screening of the movie, and seeing her there was just… incredible. It’s rare to see her at events like that, so I feel so lucky I got to witness it. She is Olive, forever and always!

Abigail Breslin attended an event on January 28th with her fellow cast members Paul Dano, Toni Collette, and Greg Kinnear. She wore a red carpet-ready outfit consisting of a matching auburn sweater and skirt.

The actress, known for her role in Zombieland, hadn’t been on a red carpet since April 2024, but she recently attended a screening and shared a selfie with her team on Instagram on January 29th. She jokingly captioned the slightly out-of-focus photo, “Another blurry selfie courtesy of ya girl.”

This week, Abigail celebrated her 20th anniversary of the beloved film, but she also had another reason to celebrate with her husband, Ira Kunyansky. The couple marked three years of marriage, which Abigail announced in a sweet post online. Ira describes himself as a “cryptoconnoisseur.”

She celebrated her third wedding anniversary with her husband, affectionately calling him ‘babekin,’ in an Instagram post that included a selfie of them together. She also wrote, ‘I love you so much!’

Since tying the knot in 2023, Abigail has detailed how she and Ira enjoy spending time together. 

She shared with People magazine in 2024 that she and her partner are big fans of true crime shows like Dateline and 20/20. They also enjoy watching spooky videos on a YouTube channel called ‘Impossible Channel,’ and surprisingly, these videos actually help them relax and fall asleep. She jokingly described them as ‘creepy together’.

As for Abigail’s favorite part of being married to Ira?

She said it’s really fun being able to spend so much time with her best friend. Her biggest annoyance is that he hogs the blankets and doesn’t clean his sink, but ultimately, she loves him and hopes they’ll continue to hang out forever.
