Jake Gyllenhaal and Jeanne Cadieu‘s latest date night is award-worthy.

He’s being considered for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie for his compelling role as Rusty Sabich in Apple TV+’s *Presumed Innocent*. It’s a really strong category this year, as he’s up against some incredible actors like Colin Farrell for *The Penguin*, Stephen Graham for *Adolescence*, Bryan Tyree Henry, and Cooper Koch, who starred in *Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story*. Earlier this year, Jeanne texted her partner after seeing Jake perform in the opening night of his Broadway play, *Othello*.

Jeanne shared on Instagram in March how happy she was to celebrate opening night with close friends. She also expressed her pride and love for someone special, saying she’ll always treasure their time together and be there to support them, even helping them practice lines!

And Jake is also thinking about forever with his leading lady.

He playfully avoided giving a specific timeframe, telling *The Hollywood Reporter* in June 2024 that he’s learned to prioritize family over work. He admitted that he used to focus heavily on his career, but now understands that family is the most important thing in his life.
