See Kim Kardashian Fall Into a Bush Ahead of Vanity Fair Oscars Party

Kim Kardashian‘s Oscars night didn’t go as planned.

Kim Kardashian had a bit of a mishap on her way to the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party, actually falling into a bush! Her sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, along with Kylie’s boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, and their mom, Kris Jenner, all walked the red carpet at the event. In a TikTok video shared on March 15th, Kim Kardashian was walking outside, surrounded by plants, and jokingly wondered to her friend Stephanie Shepherd if her shoe felt a little loose.

That comment turned out to be a hint of what was to come, as the scene immediately cut to Kim screaming while falling backwards into a bush.

“Oh, I’m so sorry!” Kim said as people nearby, including a woman with a pink pastry box, helped her get back on her feet. “I think I twisted my ankle. Let me see if I can walk it off.”

Despite a slight stumble, the 45-year-old emerged unharmed while wearing a stunning gold Gucci gown, eight-inch platform heels, and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. She did, however, feel bad about briefly touching another concertgoer.

“F–k,” she lamented as she continued her walk down the path. “I grabbed the old lady’s box.”

I remember when Kim had trouble with her shoes on the red carpet before! It really stood out at the 2024 Met Gala. She chose these clear, heel-less shoes – the same brand, Pleaser, that pole dancers love for how secure they are – and honestly, she had to be so careful going up those famous steps at the Met. It was quite a sight!

Kim Kardashian explained in a Vogue video that her shoes, with their heels, would often get caught on the metal fringe of her outfits. She described how wearing them meant constantly being on tiptoes, balancing, and flexing her calf muscles to stay upright.

However, the work was worth it for Kim.

“We really need the height on this look,” she added, “so we gotta do what we gotta do.”
