See Naomi Campbell, Janet Jackson & More at the London’s Pink Ball

Stars traded in the steps of the Met for a differentlavish night at the museum.

On October 18th, the British Museum held its first Pink Ball, an event styled as London’s version of the Met Gala. The ball was a fundraising event celebrating art, fashion, and culture, and it marked the opening of the museum’s new exhibit, *Ancient India: Living Traditions*.

London’s biggest celebrities came together to mark a special occasion. Mick Jagger, the lead singer of The Rolling Stones, made a rare appearance at Anna Wintour’s Vogue gala – his first since 2011 – accompanied by his fiancée, Melanie Hamrick. Hamrick looked stunning in a shimmering champagne-colored dress from Annie’s Ibiza as the couple arrived together.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell showed her love for her country by wearing a stunning Givenchy gown. The dress was designed with the colors and pattern of the United Kingdom’s flag, the Union Jack, and featured delicate lace accents.

Janet Jackson stood out with a stunning gown by Stephane Rolland. Also in attendance were Lady Eliza Spencer and Lady Amelia Spencer, nieces of the late Princess Diana.

As a style enthusiast, I have to say Isha Ambani truly stole the show at the gala! Her gown was absolutely breathtaking – a custom creation by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Can you believe it took over 3,670 hours to make? Talk about a labor of love – and a stunning piece of artistry!

The designer told *Harper’s Bazaar* on October 19th that the outfit embodies Isha’s elegance, confidence, and inner power, and also highlights the beautiful hand embroidery and floral designs that are central to their work. They feel honored to dress Isha, especially as she leads the Pink Ball, a very important event. Every element of the outfit was carefully created with her in mind, reflecting her sophisticated taste, resilience, and the grace she exudes.

While Britain’s high society celebrated a historic evening, Anna Wintour is likely already hard at work planning the next Met Gala in New York.

Although the Vogue editor has stepped down from her position at the magazine, she will continue to organize the yearly fundraising gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and she’s known for meticulously planning every aspect of it.

Anna pays extremely close attention to every detail, from the smallest items like napkins and forks to larger aspects like the lighting,” her former colleague Andre Leon Talley explained in the 2016 documentary *The First Monday in May*. “She’s been carefully reviewing everything – the flowers, the ushers’ outfits, absolutely everything – for months on end.”

Oh my gosh, you guys, I was *there*! M.I.A. totally slayed! She didn’t just stick to the red carpet – she owned it, then went *inside* and performed! It was incredible seeing her go from posing for pictures to absolutely killing it on stage. Seriously, a moment!
