Today marks the update for your monthly PS Plus Essential subscription, bringing three fresh PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 titles to the service for September 2025. You can already redeem and download these games in the UK and Europe, while users in the USA will have access later today.

As a gamer, I must admit that I was quite disappointed when I saw the poll results for September 2025’s PS5 and PS4 game lineup. To my surprise, an overwhelming 40% of fellow gamers voted it as a “not-so-great selection”. On the flip side, 30% of us are somewhat content with the games we have to play this month. It looks like Psychonauts 2 is the one that most PS Plus members can’t wait to dive into first.
