Sharon Osbourne Marks Ozzy Osbourne’s Birthday With Rare Tribute

Sharon Osbourne marked a somber occasion.

Sharon Osbourne, known from the show The Osbournes, recently posted on social media to honor what would have been her late husband, Ozzy Osbourne’s, 77th birthday. This is the first birthday celebration since his passing on July 22nd after a struggle with Parkinson’s disease.

On December 3rd, Sharon Osbourne shared a video of a memorial for her husband, Ozzy, in his hometown of Birmingham, England. She wrote a heartfelt message, saying she’ll always cherish him and will hold onto his memory until they meet again.

A memorial to Black Sabbath singer Ozzy Osbourne has been created on Broad Street, featuring messages from fans and pictures of the rocker. It’s located at the Black Sabbath Bridge and Bench.

Kelly Osbourne also honored her father on his birthday by creating a flower display that spelled out “Ozzy,” along with her brothers and sister, Louis, Aimee, and Jack.

Kelly shared a heartfelt birthday message to her father, celebrating his life and acknowledging the pain of his loss. In an Instagram post, she wrote that he was an extraordinary man and that she misses him deeply. She dedicates her life to honoring his memory and loving him, wishing she could have celebrated just one more birthday with him.

Kelly’s heartfelt message included a video of Ozzy celebrating his birthday and a sweet childhood photo of Kelly with her father, the famous singer of “Crazy Train.”

Oh my gosh, Jack is still in the jungle on I’m a Celebrity and it’s breaking my heart, but they posted the sweetest message on his Instagram! It said he’s thinking of his dad and wishing him a Happy Birthday in Heaven. I’m seriously so proud of him even though this must be so hard!

Ozzy Osbourne’s birthday was also recognized by the city of Birmingham. Lord Mayor Zafar Iqbal MBE welcomed Kelly and Sharon Osbourne to his offices to present the family with the Lord Mayor’s Award in Ozzy’s honor, along with a Book of Condolences.

Ozzy Osbourne was often acknowledged by important figures, and his wife, Sharon, has discussed the many honors King Charles III gave him both during his life and after he passed away.

Sharon spoke fondly of the King on the November 12th episode of The Osbournes podcast, saying, “He’s a genuinely kind man.” She explained he went above and beyond for Ozzy, reaching out on his birthday and when he was hospitalized after a motorcycle accident, demonstrating his caring nature.

She remembered that he personally took the time to write them a note, having it delivered by hand. It was a message of sympathy from the King about Ozzy’s death, and she felt that gesture spoke volumes.
