Apparently, even though we might get a quick glimpse of Doctor Doom’s face revealing a resemblance to Tony Stark in ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ none of the characters within the movie ever realize it. They don’t connect the dots, so the secret stays with us, the audience!

Casting Robert Downey Jr. as Victor Von Doom avoids confusion with his previous role as Iron Man within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This choice sparked rumors that Doom might be a version of Iron Man from another reality.
