The anime adaptation of Marriagetoxin was announced earlier this year, and its 2026 release date is approaching. To mark the end of the year and build excitement, the creators have released the first full trailer. It showcases the main voice actors, characters, and provides a significant update on the production, as detailed in a recent press release. You can watch the trailer below.

What Is Marriagetoxin About?

You can start reading Marriagetoxin now on Shueisha’s MangaPlus before the anime comes out next year – new chapters and volumes are being released regularly! The story follows Hikaru, a skilled assassin who uses poison, as he tries to save his sister from a forced marriage. To do so, he unexpectedly teams up with a con artist who specializes in marriage, leading Hikaru into a different kind of challenge: finding a wife himself.
Anna Nagase, the voice of Kyoko, also expressed her excitement about working on Marriagetoxin. She said she was initially surprised and amused by the manga’s unique blend of dating and assassination themes, and she’s delighted to be playing the character of Kyoko Himekawa, who she already loves.
