A developer working on the Silent Hill 2 remake has hinted at downloadable content (DLC) that has been rumored for a while. Throughout 2025, reports have suggested that the remake will receive DLC called “Born From A Wish.” While neither Bloober Team nor Konami have officially confirmed this, a recent comment suggests the DLC is likely in development.
Bloober Team writer Grzegorz Like recently responded to a Silent Hill fan on social media who asked about possible DLC for Silent Hill 2. The fan specifically mentioned “Born From A Wish,” and Like playfully replied with “Born from what?” and an eye emoji. Although he didn’t confirm the DLC’s existence, his response suggests that new content is likely real and could be announced soon.
When Will the Silent Hill 2 DLC Be Revealed?

Fans are still eager to find out when details about the DLC for Silent Hill 2 will be revealed. Bloober Team, the studio behind the remake, has moved on to work on a different project called Cronos: The New Dawn. Meanwhile, Konami is now concentrating on Silent Hill f, the newest installment in the main Silent Hill series, which came out just over a month ago.
Good news for fans! It looks like Silent Hill 2 is coming to Xbox, based on a recent leak. This announcement will likely include details about new downloadable content for the game. We don’t know yet if this content will be free or require purchase, but we should have answers before the end of the year.
Currently, Silent Hill 2 is playable on PlayStation 5 and PC. We’ll post updates about the upcoming “Born From A Wish” downloadable content here on ComicBook as soon as we have them.
