More than 1.5 million viewers have tuned in to watch Konatsu Kato, an actress from Silent Hill F, play the beginning of the survival horror game on PlayStation 5.
The popular streamer began playing the game late last week and has already gained over 100,000 followers eager to watch. She plans to livestream the next session on October 29th.
Kato, the actress who plays the main character Hinako Shimizu, shared how difficult it was to prepare for the role before the game came out.
During a Famitsu interview, she described feeling overwhelmed while playing the character, even to the point of feeling like she was losing her mind. She also shared that she would unexpectedly start crying, often without any clear reason.

Considering how much the game affected her mental wellbeing, it’s remarkable she’s decided to play again. She explained that she felt committed to keeping a promise she’d made to her fans.
