Struggling with the Advanced Manual Techniques Mission in *Skate 4*? You’re not alone! If you can already do flip tricks and manuals, you’ve got what it takes to finish it. This guide will explain the mission in an easy-to-understand way.

This challenge requires you to perform a specific sequence of tricks: you need to do two flip tricks and two manuals, one right after the other. Specifically, you’ll jump, do a flip, and immediately transition into a manual. Then, repeat that – jump, flip, and land in another manual.

  • They don’t have to be completed in that exact order, but they all must be in the combo to complete the mission.
  • It could be helpful if you get some extra speed outside of the area. As long as you complete the combo within the blue area, it will count towards the mission. However, this mission is able to be completed without speed.
  • If the mission doesn’t automatically complete once landing the full combo, you can continue using the area, as long as your combo is still active, and complete more manuals and flip tricks until it registers.

When trying to manual, don’t push the right stick down too quickly. First, step off your board and onto the platform. Then, get back on and perform a kickflip as you land into a manual by gently pressing down on the right stick. After that, quickly move the stick up for another flip, and then slowly press it down again to continue the manual.

Still Can’t Land it? Try This

One last tip you can try:

Performing a manual in the opposite direction of a trick you just landed. For instance, if you do a kickflip, follow it with a manual on the nose side. Then, do a nollie kickflip and land back into a manual.
