Skate 4 – Bushwacker Goals Guide

Okay, so I’m tackling the “Bushwacker” Stunt Challenge in Skate 4, and it’s… interesting. Basically, you spend a lot of time crashing into palm trees! There’s also a hidden planter you need to find, which is kinda random. I’m not sure why the plants are getting all the abuse, but hey, that’s the challenge, right? Don’t worry, I’m going to walk you through how to nail this one without too much trouble.

Before we discuss the goals for this challenge, let’s quickly review the fundamentals. Specifically, let’s remember how to perform the Spread Eagle and Torpedo tricks, and what each one helps you achieve.

  • Spread Eagle – R1 + X (PlayStation) or RB + A (Xbox). Used to slow down your fall, giving you more airtime and control.
  • Torpedo – R1 + Circle (PlayStation) or RB + B (Xbox). Used to speed up your fall at the cost of airtime and control.

With that out of the way, let’s start knocking out every single Goal for this Challenge.

Total Slam Score (5000)

This goal is simple: you need to reach a total score of 5000 or more when you land. Because it’s a total score, you’ll likely achieve this naturally while working on other goals, so you don’t need to focus on it specifically!

Hit Palm Trees (7)

Okay, so for this part of the Challenge, you need to find the palm trees! They’re easy to spot – they’re all yellow and have a little star above them. You don’t even need to *touch* the trunks, just run through their leaves and they’ll count! It’s pretty simple, actually.

Just remember, you need to chop different trees! Hitting the same tree repeatedly won’t work. The trees on the right are farther away, so you’ll have to use the Spread Eagle technique to reach them.

Land in the Undercover Planter

This Goal is definitely the most challenging of the Challenge, but it’s still manageable. The hidden planter is located inside the building, behind the palm trees on the far left. If you follow the path shown in the video, you’ll be able to find it without too much trouble.

If you’re struggling to reach the planter, don’t forget you can use the Spread Eagle move again after landing. You’ll usually bounce high enough to do it, giving you the extra height and control you need to reach your target.

Go Through the Green Wall Hole

Finally, to complete this Goal, simply pass through the hole in the center of the play area. It’s located in the middle, surrounded by palm trees, and is easy to spot thanks to its yellow highlight and asterisk marking. You can quickly fly through it to finish!

That wraps up all the Goals for the “Bushwacker” Stunt Challenge in Skate 4. It’s definitely simpler than completing the “Hit the Sights” Challenge with its dinosaur jumps, but it’s still a pretty tough one.
