“Flip Out” is a Challenge in Skate 4 that requires you to complete several difficult tasks. You’ll need to follow the on-screen arrows to collect Bearings, but you’ll also need to land certain flip tricks at precise locations along the route. This guide will walk you through how to complete all of the “Flip Out” Challenge goals.
Flip Out Goals Guide | Skate 4

First things first, let’s take a quick look at the Goals you need to do for this Challenge:
- Total Attempt Score of 3000
- Double Flip Trick the Gap at the Booth (Star)
- Body Flip off the Planter (Circle)
- All the above in an Attempt
The first and last goals are straightforward. You’ll achieve a perfect score of 3000 by completing the entire challenge in one unbroken combo. Remember to use grinds throughout the course to keep your combo going and boost your score! Finally, the last goal simply means completing all other goals in a single attempt.
Let’s talk about how to do the tricks! The symbols shown in the Goals section are key – they tell you precisely where to perform each trick. You’ll usually find these locations as you follow the arrows guiding you through the challenge.
To successfully land the Double Flip Trick, perform it over the gap beyond the booth marked with a star. Watch the video above for a demonstration.
To perform this move, pull the right analog stick down just before you jump. Quickly move it up and hold it there for about a second. Let go of the stick as you get near the ground.
To perform the Body Flip, head to the planter marked with a circle symbol. You’ll find it towards the end of the challenge course.
To perform the trick, press and hold either the L2/R2 buttons on PlayStation or the LT/RT buttons on Xbox, and then push the right stick backwards. Make sure your character completes a full spin to land safely and successfully complete the trick!
