The PC strategy RPG Solasta II, designed with tabletop gaming in mind, is scheduled to enter Early Access on Steam in early 2026, according to its developer, Tactical Adventures.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
About
The team behind Solasta: Crown of the Magister presents a new, engaging tactical RPG closely based on the rules of a famous tabletop role-playing game.
Uncover the Lands of Neokos
I’m building a team of four adventurers and we’re setting off for Neokos, a totally new continent! Our families have a history there, and we’re getting pulled into this quest because of it. There’s this ancient, mysterious villain named Shadwyn causing trouble, and honestly, things are looking pretty grim. I’m really curious to see how my choices will play out as I try to stop the corruption from taking over.
Okay, so I’ve been playing Solasta II, and it’s seriously awesome! It’s the sequel to Solasta: Crown of the Magister, which a lot of us RPG fans already loved because it really felt like playing Dungeons & Dragons with its rules. This time around, the story takes place decades after the first game, and I’m leading a new group of adventurers on a journey to find some kind of redemption in these far-off lands. It’s a great setup!
Just Like on Tabletop
Solasta II faithfully recreates the experience of playing a classic tabletop RPG. Get ready to cast spells, strike from the shadows, and defeat powerful monsters – it feels just like the tabletop game you know and love.
And there’s more to discover in Solasta II. You’ll be able to freely explore the world of Neokos, charting its map at your own pace. You can stay on the beaten path or venture into the wild – it’s up to you! But remember to be cautious, as we’ve always warned…
You make the choices, dice decide your destiny.
