Some PlayStation fans were disappointed to hear about a new Ratchet & Clank game coming to mobile instead of a large-scale sequel like Rift Apart for the PS5. However, early gameplay footage of the mobile game is surprisingly good and worth checking out.
This video features 22 minutes of gameplay from Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble. It starts with the tutorial and then shows several matches of what appears to be Total Rumble, a mode similar to Overwatch. The game stays true to the Ratchet & Clank style with its signature crazy weapons and plenty of explosive action.
The game will also feature two new modes: Blast Ball, which is similar to Rocket League, and Bolt Rush, where players compete to collect the most bolts within a level. You can still sign up to play the game in advance, and it’s already available in some countries.
Get ready for a thrilling, high-speed arena shooter featuring the beloved heroes from Ratchet & Clank! It’s filled with powerful weapons and over-the-top action.
Okay, so get this – they’re bringing this awesome universe to life as a multiplayer game! You get to play as one of the classic heroes, but with totally new powers. You can go it alone if you want, or team up with other players online. They’re building it so anyone can jump in and have fun, whether you’re a hardcore gamer or just starting out. And the best part? It’s going to be free to download soon! I’m super hyped for this one.
