Fans are facing a long wait for more content from the Solo Leveling universe. The anime’s third season hasn’t been announced yet, and the Solo Leveling: Ragnarok webcomic is on hold because the artist began his mandatory military service in January – a commitment that usually lasts almost two years. Currently, Solo Leveling: Arise is the only source of new content. The game’s official website features ‘Hunter Origin’ one-shot stories that follow characters from both the original series and Arise. I’m completely hooked on the backstory of the 31st Hunter! It centers around Antonie, a really devoted husband and father, whose poor daughter was battling a serious illness. They did absolutely everything to bring her joy, knowing her time was limited. Then, tragedy struck – a car accident while rushing her to the hospital. In that moment of desperation, trying to save his family, Antonie unlocked incredible powers, becoming a Hunter. It’s heartbreaking because, even with his newfound abilities, his daughter sadly passed away shortly after. It’s a really powerful and emotional origin story.

Still heartbroken over his daughter’s death, Antonie discovered her diary, which revealed she believed him to be a strong protector and that they would reunite in the afterlife. This gave him a renewed sense of purpose: to honor her memory by using his emerging abilities to help others. Meanwhile, unable to cope with the loss, Myro tragically took her own life. In doing so, she encountered otherworldly beings – the White Flames and the demon king, Baran. Baran offered her a chance to get revenge in exchange for becoming his heir, and she immediately accepted.
