Sombr Reacts to Fan Calling His Concert “One of the Worst Experiences”

Sombr knows he’s crossed at least one person’s mind.

Okay, so I just *had* to read about this, and honestly, I’m fuming on his behalf! Apparently, some girl posted this awful video online trashing his concert – *his* concert! – calling the D.C. show on October 13th “one of the worst experiences” of her life. Can you believe the nerve? I was practically living for every moment of that tour, and to hear someone say that… it just breaks my heart for him. I mean, he pours his soul into his performances, and she just… dismissed it like that? It’s infuriating!

Sombr recently addressed a situation unfolding on TikTok. In a video posted on October 19th, he explained that a 25-year-old concert attendee complained about the large number of young fans, his use of silly or ‘brain rot’ humor, and overall found the concert embarrassing.

Sombr, whose real name is Shane Michael Boose, claimed that a user’s comments about how he looked led to a lot of negative and hurtful online criticism directed at him. He then responded to those criticisms himself.

I understand everyone has their own opinions, but I’m a young artist – just turned 20. If you’re 25 and come to my show expecting not to see anyone younger than you, especially when I’m five years younger than you, it just shows a lack of awareness or understanding.

The musician pointed out that his comedic style wasn’t unexpected, as he’s always been known for being silly online.

He admitted he’s always been a bit of a joker. He also explained that his concerts are mostly music, with just a few minutes of comedy thrown in. He ended with a simple message: ‘Don’t take life too seriously.’

Sombr welcomed fans of all ages, genders, sexualities, and races to his shows. He then jokingly gestured towards some artificial turf, implying that people should spend less time online and more time enjoying the real world.

“You guys need to find problematic people to hate on,” he declared, “because I am just existing.”

In January 2024, Bobby addressed speculation about a disagreement with Tan, following his announcement in November 2023 that he was leaving *Queer Eye* after eight seasons. (Bobby is shown second from left in the picture.)

He told *Vanity Fair* that he and Tan are doing okay. He explained they went through a personal issue, but it wasn’t related to the show and wasn’t romantic in nature. He emphasized it was something that had been developing between them privately.

In March 2024, Tan addressed claims that he tried to get his friend Jeremiah Brent to replace Bobby on the show *Queer Eye*.

Netflix and the production team held extensive auditions. I didn’t recommend my friend for the role, but they ultimately landed it because they were the most qualified. I also want to clarify that I didn’t help them get the part by having anyone else removed from consideration, as I saw some people suggest on Instagram.

After years of speculation about a conflict between them, Holly Marie Combs, Shannen’s former co-star on *Charmed*, revealed on her December 2023 podcast, *Let’s Be Clear*, that Alyssa Milano supposedly gave a show producer an ultimatum: choose her or Shannen. Combs claims this led to Shannen leaving the show in 2001.

In February 2024, Alyssa posted on Instagram stating she couldn’t get anyone fired and that stories circulating about events from the past were simply inaccurate retellings.

At a MegaCon Orlando panel, Shannen stated that, to her knowledge, the true story of what happened hasn’t been altered or rewritten.

Shannen passed away in July 2024 after a yearslong battle with cancer.

During a September 2023 game of “Stir the Pot” with her daughter, Kelly Osbourne, on TopMob News, Sharon Osbourne revealed that actor Topher Grace was the rudest celebrity she’d ever encountered. She described him as a very rude and unpleasant person.

He did not respond to her remarks publicly.

Five years ago, Sharon shared with Larry King that Ashton seemed annoyed when he was a guest on *The Talk* in 2014, after she mispronounced his name.

She remembered him asking, ‘Who are you and what have you accomplished in this field?’ Her response was sharp: ‘Listen, don’t challenge me, because I’ll completely overwhelm you.’ She finished by saying, ‘You have no idea who you’re talking to.’

In August 2022, Cassadee Pope and Maren Morris clashed with Brittany Aldean, the wife of country singer Jason Aldean, after Brittany posted a video on Instagram. In the video, she thanked her parents for not allowing her to transition during a phase where she preferred traditionally masculine interests, stating she now enjoys a feminine lifestyle.

In a 2022 TikTok trend, JoJo Siwa called Candace Cameron Bure the “rudest” celebrity she’d met, explaining that Bure once turned down her request for a photo on the red carpet. Soon after, Bure publicly apologized, saying she regretted hurting Siwa’s feelings as an 11-year-old fan and was truly sorry for not taking the picture.

Candace and the other person resolved their differences. However, when asked months later if her network, Great American Family, would ever feature same-sex couples as the main characters in its holiday movies, she stated it wouldn’t, explaining that the network would continue to focus on traditional marriage.

JoJo, who publicly shared they are part of the LGBTQ+ community in 2021, said on Instagram that the actress’s remark was “rude and hurtful to an entire community.”

In June 2021, Courtney Love claimed Olivia Rodrigo had copied the album cover art for Hole in a promotional photo without giving credit. Olivia responded with a simple, “Love u and live through this sooooo much.” Courtney then playfully replied, “Olivia – you’re welcome. My favorite florist is in Notting Hill, London! DM me for details! I look forward to reading your note [winking face emoji].”

I was chatting on *Watch What Happens Live* recently, and someone asked about my experience working with Tom Hanks on *Turner & Hooch* back in ’89. Apparently, there’s always been curiosity about whether we really got along! It’s funny what people remember, and I shared my side of the story about our dynamic on set.

I directed the movie for thirteen days, and then Jeff Katzenberg, the producer, told me to go home – that I had everything I needed, he said.

Winkler and Hanks’ dog seemed to get along very well. “I really loved that dog,” Winkler said.

He also refused to admit if he’s even seen the flick.

“You know what you did!”

Anyone who watched *The Hills* probably remembers Lauren’s famous line from the start of season three. The drama between her and Heidi began when Heidi started dating Spencer Pratt. It escalated when Lauren claimed Heidi and Spencer spread a false rumor about her and Jason Wahler, alleging she had made a sex tape with him.

Tyrese and Dwayne Johnson had another public disagreement after the release date for *Fast & Furious 9* was moved to April 2020. On the same day, a spin-off movie featuring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham was announced for 2019. Shortly after, Tyrese said he would leave *Fast 9* if Dwayne Johnson was still involved.

Tyrese recently discussed the long-standing conflict with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, telling Van Lathan on *The Red Pill* podcast that he still hasn’t spoken to Johnson directly, though they plan to. He did mention having a conversation with one of Johnson’s producing partners, but not with Johnson himself.

Tyrese admitted he mistakenly voiced frustrations on behalf of others connected to the film series. “I shouldn’t have publicly shared those feelings – it was unprofessional and a mistake on my part,” he explained.

No more bad blood here.

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry had a long-running public disagreement, rumored to be the inspiration behind Swift’s song “Bad Blood.” The conflict, which began with issues over a dancer and competition during their tours, ended when Perry sent Swift an olive branch as a peace offering before Swift’s *Reputation* Tour began.

I was so surprised when I walked into my dressing room and there was a real olive branch waiting for me! It honestly meant the world to me.

Taylor captioned the video, “Thank you Katy.”

For years, Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker, stars of *Sex and the City*, dismissed rumors of a disagreement. However, those rumors resurfaced when Kim chose not to participate in a third movie and made some pointed remarks about her co-star.

During a September 2017 episode of *Watch What Happens Live*, Andy Cohen asked Sarah Jessica Parker how she felt about Kim Cattrall’s statement to Piers Morgan that they had only ever been colleagues, not friends.

She said she was just devastated, explaining that they had talked about it all week. She was really bothered by something because her memory of what happened was completely different.

It’s definitely sad, but I believe what truly connects us is the unique experience we all shared. It started as a professional project, but over the years, it became something deeply personal. I’m hoping that the strength of those years, and the special connection we all felt, will outweigh any recent disagreements. It was a real privilege to be part of something so meaningful for so long.

And though they didn’t film scenes together, Kim did make a small appearance on And Just Like That.

Elton John and Madonna have been publicly disagreeing since 2004. The conflict began when Elton, while accepting an award at the Q Awards that year, criticized Madonna’s live performances. He famously said, “Madonna, best live act? That’s ridiculous!” and questioned her use of lip-syncing, suggesting anyone who lip-syncs for a paying audience should face serious consequences.

The actress, formerly on *Grey’s Anatomy*, caused a disagreement with the show’s creator back in 2008 when she asked to no longer be considered for an Emmy Award. She explained that she didn’t think the storylines she was given were strong enough to deserve a nomination.

Shonda Rhimes discussed Katherine’s choice in a 2012 interview with Oprah Winfrey on *Oprah’s Next Chapter*. She admitted it was both hurtful and expected. “When someone shows you their true colors, pay attention,” Shonda explained. “I’ve really taken that to heart, and it’s helped me a lot.”

The fight between Nicki and Cardi at the Harper’s Bazaar Icon party during New York Fashion Week became a major news story. A month later, Cardi explained what caused the argument with Nicki.

Cardi B recently told *W* magazine that another person has been repeatedly criticizing her. They had talked twice before and seemed to resolve things, but the criticism continued.

The conflict truly escalated when Cardi B noticed Nicki Minaj had reportedly liked, then quickly unliked, a tweet criticizing Cardi’s parenting. Nicki has stated she didn’t actually interact with the tweet.

As a mom, my daughter always comes first. I had a huge opportunity with the Bruno Mars tour – we’re talking serious money – but I chose to step away and be there for her. I’m a really dedicated mom, and it hurts when people without kids criticize my choices. Honestly, I don’t get second chances to run into amazing artists like Bruno at the grocery store or just out and about, so I wasn’t going to miss that moment, regardless of where it happened.

The conflict between Kanye West and Taylor Swift began in 2009 when he interrupted her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards. They eventually reconciled and became friends, but their relationship fell apart in 2016 after Kanye released his song “Famous,” which mentioned Taylor by name.

As a longtime fan of both artists, I remember being completely stunned back in February 2025. Just one day before the Grammys, Kanye suddenly followed only Taylor on Instagram. It was such a pointed move, and he didn’t say a word to explain it. Taylor herself didn’t publicly acknowledge it either, which just made the whole thing even more intriguing!

“I don’t know her.”

The supposed rivalry between Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez has been talked about for over 15 years. It began during an interview where Mariah was asked about other singers. When asked specifically about Jennifer Lopez, Mariah famously responded, “I don’t know her.”
