In approximately a month, Sega’s game called Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will be released. However, gamers with PS5, Xbox Series X/S, or Nintendo Switch consoles can get an early taste of the action during this weekend’s Open Network Test. Pre-loading the game is already possible, and a fresh trailer provides a sneak peek at the diverse content on offer.
In this game, there are nine main courses to explore, along with seven additional CrossWorlds that become accessible after completing the initial lap. Characters from throughout the Sonic the Hedgehog series number twelve and can be played. Additionally, players have the option to test drive 21 distinct vehicles categorized into five groups, or design their own personalized vehicle using various components. Furthermore, you can utilize a total of 42 diverse gadgets to create custom builds tailored for almost any situation.
Beyond the World Match, there’s also a one-day Joker Festival event where players split into three teams. Points earned from different stages and unique game rules determine winners, who receive decals and titles as rewards. The cherry on top is that participants can unlock Joker and his vehicle for use in other game modes.
The Open Network Test will take place from August 28th at 9 PM through September 1st. Meanwhile, the game “Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds” is set to launch on September 25th.
