Sadie Sink is rumored to be joining the cast of the upcoming Marvel movie, Avengers: Secret Wars, following her recent casting in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Sadie Sink is expected to appear in the next Avengers movie, Secret Wars, once she finishes filming her role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, according to Baz Bamigboye of Deadline.
Neither the actress from Stranger Things nor Marvel Studios has confirmed this news. According to a report by Bamigboye, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ is planned for release on July 31st. While there’s been a lot of discussion about what role Sink might have in the Spider-Man movie, the exact details are unknown. However, he does state she is confirmed to join the cast of the next Avengers film, which will be filmed in London in late 2026.
The Hollywood Reporter says filming for Secret Wars is expected to begin in the summer of 2026. Because of this, many Marvel fans believe the ‘Avengers’ movie previously mentioned in the report is actually Secret Wars.
Sadie Sink is currently filming for the new Spider-Man movie, and is expected to continue shooting until mid-December. While details about her character are still secret, online speculation suggests she might be playing Jean Grey, Mayday Parker, Gwen Stacy, or Rachel Cole, the love interest of the Punisher (Jon Bernthal).
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on July 31, 2026.
