Spider-Man: No Way Home Is Disney+’s Most-Watched Movie in America

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man movie quickly became the most popular film on Disney+ in the United States, reaching the top spot just one day after it became available.

The arrival of Spider-Man: No Way Home on Disney+ is a big achievement for the streaming service. It means that, for the first time ever, all of the movies and shows in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are now available to watch on Disney+.

Spider-Man: No Way Home Was a Record-Breaking Success

Released in 2021, Spider-Man: No Way Home wrapped up the initial Spider-Man storyline within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film featured a unique multiverse plot, bringing together Tom Holland’s Peter Parker with Spider-Man versions played by Tobey Maguire from Sam Raimi’s earlier Spider-Man films, and…

With a 93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a “Certified Fresh” label, critics praised the film for being more ambitious and expansive than the previous Spider-Man movies, which centered on Peter Parker’s high school experiences. Fans loved it even more, giving Spider-Man: No Way Home a 97% “Certified Hot” user score and calling it a perfect example of delivering exactly what fans wanted.

I still remember how huge No Way Home was when it first came out! And the way it finished left me so excited for what was next. With Brand New Day coming out in July, I think now is the perfect time for any Spider-Man fan to rewatch No Way Home and get hyped all over again!

Jon Watts directed Spider-Man: No Way Home, which stars Tom Holland as Spider-Man. The film also features a large cast including Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Benedict Wong, Tony Revolori, and Marisa Tomei, plus returning Spider-Man actors Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire.

The MCU Is Finally Back

With the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day in July, it will have been a year since the last Marvel Cinematic Universe film, The Fantastic Four. Now that Spider-Man: No Way Home is available on Disney+, dedicated fans can plan to watch all the MCU movies in order to get ready for the next chapter.

This is only the beginning of a busy year for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and things are set to get even more exciting. Marvel Studios has already launched two highly-rated shows – Wonder Man and Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again – on Disney+. Plus, a special presentation, The Punisher: One Last Kill, will premiere in May.

Marvel is planning another TV show for 2026 called VisionQuest, which will finish a story arc begun with WandaVision and continued in Agatha All Along. The Marvel Cinematic Universe will then wrap up the year with a major event.
