
After appearing in video games for 33 years, Fox McCloud from Star Fox is now joining the world of film in The Super Mario Bros. Movie. This marks a significant milestone for the beloved Nintendo character, who first led the Star Fox team in a game back in 1993 and has starred in several sequels. This movie appearance comes after a planned TV series starring Fox McCloud was cancelled over a decade ago.
Okay, so The Super Mario Bros. Movie isn’t just sticking to the Super Mario Galaxy game, it’s pulling from all over the Mario universe – which is awesome! And now, they’ve officially added Fox McCloud from Star Fox! I just saw the first poster of him on the movie’s X page, and honestly, he looks exactly as cool as you’d hope. Seriously, this movie is shaping up to be a huge crossover event for all the Nintendo fans out there.
